Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic gathered the squad to reveal he will out for the rest of season.
The lanky Swede has been ruled out of the season, due to a knee injury which he sustained during United’s Europa League clash with Anderlecht. Herrera has come out to reveal how Ibrahimovic called the squad together to tell them about his devastating injury.
The Spaniard revealed: ‘It is true that he [Ibrahimovic] was down at the training ground yesterday and spoke to the group,
‘But he did not say much, really. He wished us only good luck with the rest of the season.”
‘He has an incredible mentality and a great physique, I have never seen such a good football body. I am quite sure he will make it back.’
Zlatan Ibrahimovic who joined Manchester United last summer on a free transfer, has been a standout performer at the Old Trafford, helping them to a number of wins this season against all odds.
The Red Devils’ squad have showed signs of fatigue in recent weeks due to their busy schedule of matches, as a result of their involvement in Europa League.
